Sign Your Name and Show Your Support: Help Voice Artist Laura Evelyn Expose the Hearing Health Crisis

We are so moved to share some amazing work being independently produced by one of our esteemed clients. Acclaimed voice actor Laura Evelyn is presently at work on her debut short film Submerge, a sensory exploration of life with permanent tinnitus. Drawing from her own hearing health journey, Evelyn's project has already sparked crucial conversations in the audiology community and has received backing from Tinnitus UK.
The statistics Laura shares are staggering:
- There are no known cures for permanent tinnitus.
- There are 8 million people affected by tinnitus.
- The NHS spends 750 million pounds on tinnitus-related GP appointments per year.
- An estimated 76% of those who suffer from permanent tinnitus feel their partner/family does not understand their condition.
In Laura's short film Submerge, a film which she has written as a result of her own journey with hearing, is intimate, authentic, and powerful. Brutal and honesty, this is a story of inspiration and community. But this project needs a show of support in order to be produced, which means we're helping spread the word in the hopes that you will give Laura's video a watch and a listen, and will be moved to include your name on the project interest form.
